Adding an image to a PDF lets you drop a photo, a company logo, or a scanned signature straight onto a page you already have — no need to rebuild the document. Open your PDF, place the picture exactly where you want it, drag a corner to resize it (the aspect ratio is locked so it never looks stretched), and lower the opacity for a subtle overlay or a watermark-style stamp. It works on any PDF, including a flat scan with no text layer.

PNG, JPG, and WebP images are all supported, and transparent PNGs keep their transparency — so a logo or a signature with a see-through background sits cleanly on the page instead of inside a white box. How to add an image to a PDF

Are my PDF files uploaded to a server?
No. Your PDF and image are processed entirely in your browser with pdf.js and pdf-lib. Nothing leaves your device. You can confirm it in your browser's Network tab: no file data is sent.
How is this different from Image to PDF?
Image to PDF turns your pictures into a brand-new PDF (one image per page). This tool does the opposite: it drops an image onto a PDF you already have: a logo, a photo, or a signature placed on an existing page.
Which image formats can I add?
