Convert JSON to PDF: readable, and fully private

Turn a .json file (an API response, a config export, a data dump) into a clean, indented PDF you can read, print, or archive. pdfcosmos parses and renders it entirely in your browser, so your data never leaves your device.

Every rival JSON converter uploads your file to a server. Because JSON so often carries sensitive data (bank exports, audit logs, configuration), a local-first version is a genuine privacy win, not just a convenience. Arrays of records also get a table view so tabular data is easy to scan.

  • Indented, readable tree

Pretty-printed with real, selectable text. Copy, search, and highlight it.

  • Automatic table view

Arrays of flat objects are also rendered as a table above the source.

  • Private by design

Parsed and rendered in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.

  • Batch to one ZIP

Convert up to 30 files at once. Several download together as a ZIP.

How to convert JSON to PDF

  1. Add your JSON file(s)

  2. Pick page size & orientation

Frequently asked questions

Are my JSON files uploaded to a server?
No. The conversion runs entirely in your browser. Your files never leave your device. You can confirm it in your browser's Network tab: no file data is sent. This matters for JSON, which often holds sensitive data (API responses, config, exports).
How is the JSON laid out in the PDF?
As a pretty-printed, indented tree with real, selectable text. When the file is an array of flat objects (records), a table view of the rows is added above the source so it's easy to scan.
What if my JSON is invalid?
You'll get a clear message describing the problem (often with the position of the error) instead of a broken PDF. Fix the file and try again.
Can it fill an invoice or report template from my JSON?
No. That's a template product. This tool makes your JSON readable and printable. It doesn't map data into a designed layout.
Can I convert several files at once?
Yes. Add up to 30 files. One file downloads as a PDF, and two or more download together as a single ZIP.
Is JSON to PDF free?
Yes, it's completely free to use, with no sign-up and nothing to install.
