Remove links from a PDF — strip hyperlinks, keep everything else
Remove Links strips just the clickable links from a PDF — both external web and email hyperlinks and internal jump-to-page links — while leaving every other annotation in place. The words or images that used to be clickable stay exactly where they are; they simply stop doing anything when clicked. It's the targeted tool for when links are the only thing you want gone, for example before repurposing a document whose old URLs you don't want followed.
The whole link is deleted, not just disabled: each link annotation, its URL or page destination, and any appearance are removed from the file, so the target URLs don't linger in the bytes. Your comments, highlights, sticky notes, stamps, and interactive form fields are all kept. Clean one PDF or up to 30 at once (a ZIP for several), entirely in your browser with pdf-lib, so your files never leave your device. To strip every annotation type at once instead, use Remove Annotations; to add links, use Add Links.
