GIF is a common format for simple graphics, logos, and short clips saved from the web. Turning one or a whole set into a single PDF makes them easy to view, print, or archive. pdfcosmos does it entirely on your device, so your images are never uploaded.

Because a PDF page is a still image, the first frame of an animated GIF is used. Your browser decodes each GIF locally and places it into the PDF, so nothing is uploaded. Add up to 50 images, drag them into the order you want, and choose Fit to image or A4 / US Letter with an orientation and margin. Any transparent areas sit on the page’s white background.

Frequently asked questions

Are my GIF files uploaded to a server?
No. Each GIF is decoded and drawn into the PDF by your own browser. Nothing is transmitted. Watch the DevTools Network tab while converting: you'll see no image bytes leaving your device.
What happens to animated GIFs?
A PDF page is a still image, so the first frame of an animated GIF is used. If you need a specific frame, open the GIF and save the frame you want first, then convert that image.
Can I convert several GIF images at once?
Yes, up to 50 GIFs at a time. Every file gets its own page in the order you arrange them (drag the cards or nudge them with the up/down buttons), and by default everything lands in a single PDF; with two or more files, a “Multiple files” option can instead make a separate PDF for each, bundled together as a ZIP.
Can I set the page size and margins?
Yes. Use “Fit to image” for pages that match each GIF frame's dimensions, or lay the frames on A4 / US Letter pages with an orientation and margin. On a fixed page the frame is centered and scaled to fit.
Is there a limit on how many images or their size?
You can convert up to 50 images at once. For speed and reliability across devices, each file should be under 100 MB and the total under 300 MB. Larger files are skipped with a clear message.
