Some documents need the same page more than once: a practice worksheet repeated for every student, a sign-in sheet for each session, one ticket or label printed thirty times, a form page repeated per applicant. Instead of printing and scanning again (or rebuilding the file in an editor), Duplicate PDF Pages repeats the pages you pick, as many times as you need, and hands back a single new PDF.

You stay in control of the layout. “In place” weaves each copy directly after its original (1, 2, 2, 2, 3 …), which suits repeated forms inside a longer document. “At the end” keeps the original reading order and appends the extra copies as a block, which suits print runs. Pick pages with simple ranges like 1-3, 5, or leave the box empty to repeat the entire document, the fastest way to turn a one-page PDF into thirty identical copies.

Everything happens on your device: the qpdf engine, compiled to WebAssembly, rebuilds the file inside your browser tab, so the PDF is never uploaded and the original file on your disk is never modified. Copies are structural (the same fonts, text, and images referenced again, not re-rendered), so there is no quality loss, and the result can run to 2,000 pages before the in-browser memory cap steps in.

How to duplicate pages in a PDF

  1. Add your PDF

Frequently asked questions

Are my PDF files uploaded to a server?
No. Pages are duplicated entirely in your browser using WebAssembly (qpdf). Your file never leaves your device. You can confirm it in your browser's Network tab.
Which pages can I duplicate?
Any you choose: type page numbers and ranges separated by commas, e.g. “1-3, 5”. Leave the box empty to duplicate every page (handy for making many copies of a one-page label or ticket).
What does “copies of each page” mean?
It's how many times each selected page appears in the result. 2 means the page shows up twice (the original plus one copy). Set it to 10 to get ten of each.
What's the difference between “in place” and “at the end”?
“In place” puts each page's copies right after it (1, 2, 2, 2, 3). “At the end” keeps the original order, then appends the extra copies of the selected pages after the last page.
Is the quality or content changed?
No. Duplicating only copies the selected pages. The page content is untouched, so there's no loss of quality.
How large can the duplicated PDF get?
The result can hold up to 2,000 pages. The cap exists because the whole job runs in your browser's memory. If your combination of pages × copies would go over it, the tool tells you before running, so select fewer pages or use fewer copies.
Can it duplicate pages in a password-protected PDF?
No. Unlock it first (with the Unlock PDF tool), then duplicate its pages.
