Are my PDFs uploaded to a server?
No. Extraction runs entirely in your browser. Your files never leave your device. You can confirm it in your browser's Network tab: no file data is sent.
What does the HTML look like?
A clean, standalone document: each page becomes a section, with short lines treated as headings and the rest as paragraphs. It's best-effort layout. Columns, exact positioning, and images aren't reproduced.
It says my PDF has no selectable text. Why?
The PDF is likely scanned (images with no text layer). Run it through OCR first, then convert the searchable PDF here.
Can I convert several files at once?
Yes. Add up to 30 files. One downloads as an .html file, and two or more download together as a single ZIP.
