Each slide is the PDF page placed as a high-resolution image, so it looks exactly like your document. The words aren't editable text boxes (reconstructing editable slides from a PDF isn't reliable and would need a server, which we don't use). The deck's size matches your first page, and because every page is rasterised, scanned PDFs convert just as well. Convert up to 30 files at once.

Frequently asked questions

Are my PDF files uploaded to a server?
No. Each page is rendered and the .pptx is built entirely in your browser. Your PDF never leaves your device. You can confirm it in your browser's Network tab: no file data is sent.
Can I edit the text on the slides afterwards?
Not as text. Each slide is the PDF page placed as a high-resolution image, so it looks exactly like your PDF, but the words aren't editable text boxes. Reconstructing editable, re-flowable slides from a PDF isn't reliable and would need a conversion server (or OCR), which we don't do, to keep everything private and in your browser.
Will each page become its own slide?
Yes. One slide per PDF page, and the deck's slide size matches your first page (so a landscape PDF gives landscape slides). Pages of a different size are fit and centered on the slide.
Does it work on scanned PDFs?
Yes. Because every page is rendered as an image, scanned or image-only PDFs convert just as well as ones with text. Each scanned page simply becomes a slide.
Can I convert several PDFs at once?
Yes. Add up to 30 PDFs. One file downloads as a PowerPoint file, and two or more download together as a single ZIP.
