How to rotate a PDF

Frequently asked questions

Are my PDF files uploaded to a server?
No. Rotation happens entirely in your browser using WebAssembly. Your file never leaves your device. You can confirm it in your browser's Network tab.
Does it rotate every page?
Yes. The rotation you choose is applied to the whole document. Click rotate-left or rotate-right once for 90°, twice for 180°, and so on.
Can I rotate left and right?
Yes. Use the rotate-left (counter-clockwise) and rotate-right (clockwise) buttons on the file card. The thumbnail spins to preview the result before you apply it.
Will rotating reduce quality?
No. Rotation only updates each page's orientation metadata. The page content is untouched, so there's no loss of quality, even for scanned PDFs.
Can I rotate more than one PDF at once?
Yes. Add up to 30 PDFs and set a rotation for each. When you rotate more than one file, the results download together as a single ZIP.
Is Rotate PDF free?
