TIFF is common for scans, faxes, and archival images, but it's awkward to view and share because most browsers and apps can't open it. pdfcosmos turns your TIFFs (including multi-page ones) into a single PDF entirely on your device, so nothing is uploaded.

Add as many .tif / .tiff files as you like, set the order, and choose Fit to image or A4 / US Letter. Because browsers can't decode TIFF, the tool uses a built-in decoder (utif) right in your browser, so it works everywhere.

How to convert TIFF to PDF

Frequently asked questions

Are my TIFF files uploaded to a server?
No. Your images are decoded and converted entirely in your browser. They never leave your device. You can confirm it in your browser's Network tab: no image data is sent.
Does it support multi-page TIFFs?
Yes. Fax and scanner TIFFs often hold many pages in one file. Each page becomes its own page in the PDF, in order.
Why can't my browser open TIFF directly?
Most browsers can't display TIFF at all. This tool includes a built-in TIFF decoder (utif) that runs in your browser, so it works the same in Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Safari.
Can I convert several TIFFs at once?
Yes. Add multiple files. Each (and each page within a multi-page TIFF) becomes a PDF page, in the order shown. By default they all download as a single PDF; with two or more files, a “Multiple files” option lets you make a separate PDF for each instead, bundled together as a ZIP.
Can I set the page size and margins?
Yes. Choose “Fit to image” to make each page exactly its image's size, or A4 / US Letter with an orientation and margin.
Is TIFF to PDF free?
Yes, it's completely free to use, with no sign-up and nothing to install.
